What happens to the mind when subjected to extreme isolation? No light, no sound…only darkness. Our mind plays tricks on us to survive; time will warp, images dance across our field of vision when nothing is there. Explore the depths of the mind and power of the darkness with “Isolation.” This show can feature a “subject” who is going through this event, but doesn’t have to.

1. Trapped
Our senses become meaningless as we become trapped in the absence of all sound and light.

2. Time Warp
One of the most profound effects of isolation…time shifting. Minutes seem like hours, hours go on for days. Various time signatures and tempo changes bring this movement to life.

3. Hallucinations
Indeed the most alarming effect of isolation…hallucinations. Sometimes bursts of light or floating shapes, sometimes a sensation of touch…or an electrical shock…or worse.

4. Lost
There is no escaping the survival mechanisms of the brain as we pass the point of no return. Darkness takes over and we are forever lost in our own mind.
